About The Position

About the Role: Information Security is a firm‑wide strategic priority at Baird. As an Information Security Analyst, you will help drive this mission by enhancing security awareness, monitoring regulatory developments, and partnering with stakeholders to solve complex challenges that impact both associates and clients. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, eye for continuous improvement and the drive to add value to the work beyond the basic expectations of the role. This position offers flexibility with 4 days per week in our Milwaukee, WI office and 1 day remote. Help business partners understand information security risks, expectations, and best practices in a clear, approachable manner. Contribute to the documentation of Information Security policies, AI usage standards, governance and process workflows. Assist in the implementation of new security technologies and program initiatives. Collaborate with members of the team and subject matter experts across the firm to solve complex issues. Turn data into insights and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will help contribute to driving decision. Monitor the evolving threat landscape and security best practices; summarize key insights and communicate findings to the team. Support change management that enables effective project rollout and user adoption. Serve as an escalation point for third‑party security reviews, including analyzing vendor questionnaires, SOC reports, and identifying potential risks. Perform other related duties and support special projects that strengthen the firm’s security posture. What You’ll Bring to Baird: 3–5 years of professional experience or equivalent background (Financial Services experience preferred). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and clearly organize, analyze, and present complex information. Ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, sharing responsibilities and contributing to collective success. Willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines or during crisis response. Ability to build strong partnerships with internal business stakeholders and drive positive outcomes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft and AI‑enhanced tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, and Copilot.
