The project scope includes assisting South Carolina Division of Technology/Division of Information Security through project management in the successful development, implementation, and deployment of a number of new technology initiatives that are being implemented across the State’s departments and agencies as part of the statewide information security program. Scope specifically involves management of multiple, parallel InfoSec efforts consisting of both inter-related and separate initiatives in a high volume pace and in a manner that minimizes conflict and interference with other InfoSec and non-InfoSec initiatives. The InfoSec initiatives needing project management assistance currently include laptop whole disk encryption, two-factor authentication, VPN, security information and event management, data discovery and classification, desktop patch management, privileged user management, data discovery and loss prevention, vulnerability assessment, request for proposal development, and others.
