About The Position

The Information Security Analyst role at Infoblox involves assisting the Security Operations team in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in cyber security preferred, but may consider other IT experience with security-related certifications
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, and ASM
• Knowledge of at least one industry regulatory framework or commercial security standard, such as NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, SOC2, or ISO 27001
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information science, data science, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Preferred cybersecurity certifications: CompTIA Security+, etc.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and act on cybersecurity alerts affecting the corporate infrastructure
• Assist in creating metrics and supporting the SOC manager
• Participate in incident response events as they occur
• Contribute to documenting and managing technical risks in the IT Risk Register
• Create and improve security documentation, including process documents, run books, proposals, etc.
• Present and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Interact with multiple teams across the organization
