The Information Security Analyst plays a key role in supporting and strengthening Spacesaver’s cybersecurity posture, with a strong focus on CMMC and NIST 800‑171 compliance. Reporting to the Senior Network Engineer, this position serves as a technical and compliance‑focused subject matter expert, partnering closely with IT and cross‑functional stakeholders to reduce risk and support business and regulatory objectives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex security requirements into practical, real‑world solutions and thrives in a detail‑oriented, problem‑solving environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in information security
  • Strong working knowledge of NIST 800‑171 or similar frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation abilities
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CMMC requirements and assessment processes
  • Experience with DFARS, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks
  • Experience supporting third‑party audits or readiness reviews
  • Knowledge of SIEM tools, network monitoring, and Microsoft security technologies (Active Directory, Azure/Entra, M365)
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CISM, CISSP, or SSCP

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, ongoing management, and continuous improvement of CMMC compliance initiatives
  • Conduct security gap assessments and risk analyses, documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies
  • Help protect systems and information assets through administrative, technical, and procedural controls
  • Develop, maintain, and document security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST 800‑171
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance findings
  • Maintain audit‑ready documentation and evidence for assessments and ongoing compliance efforts
  • Develop and deliver security awareness and compliance training
  • Partner with IT and business teams to implement, validate, and monitor security controls
  • Coordinate and support internal and external cybersecurity audits
  • Stay current on evolving cybersecurity threats, tools, and regulatory standards
  • Support vendor risk assessments and third‑party security reviews
  • Assist with user requests related to security configuration and enhancements
