About The Position

Serve as an on-site Information Security (INFOSEC) Analyst for a DoD client’s security and program protection team, orchestrating protective measures to safeguard classified information from loss, compromise, or unauthorized disclosure. The team member will support implementation of the supported Agency’s INFOSEC Program in accordance with DoD, MDA, and other non-DoD requirements. Activities include performing analysis, developing plans, attending meetings, preparing reports, conducting surveys, maintaining and updating databases, and conducting training. The applicant must be capable of working in a team environment and will support INFOSEC functions such as performing reviews of documents, e-mails, videos, and pictures for classification to ensure no classified information is released to the public. They will also assist in the development and staffing of Agency Security Classification guides to validate proper format, identify horizontal classification issues, and evaluate security classification issues. Additionally, the role involves drafting responses to Classification Challenges and Classification Determinations and maintaining metrics for monthly and annual reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working on missile defense-related or other DoD program / project
  • Demonstrated experience in INFOSEC functions and practices
  • Ability to analyze technical documents effectively
  • Ability to apply government formatting regulations to technical document review
  • Ability to be detail-oriented during analysis
  • SECRET clearance
  • Experience with DoD security procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Access
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent office software skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree relevant to the Security/CI fields preferred
