This role supports a Navy customer in San Diego, CA. Job Description and Responsibilities: Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breaches and viruses
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
- Secret Clearance(must be a US Citizen)
Nice To Haves
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with NIST, DISA STIGs, and DoD RMF compliance.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor information security policies and procedures.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and risk assessments.
- Support RMF documentation and ATO renewals.
- Respond to and document security incidents and audits.
