About The Position

We're looking for a motivated and driven Information Security Analyst Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced professionals to protect our organization's digital assets. Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start the day with the team, discussing priorities and any new threats on the horizon.
• Dive into security alerts and logs, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents as they happen using analytical skills.
• Work with other teams, like IT and software development, to ensure security is embedded throughout our systems and processes.
• Explore new security technologies, attend webinars, and expand knowledge.
• Use tools to scan for system vulnerabilities and work with teams to prioritize and fix them.
• Help develop and implement scripts and tools to automate routine security tasks.
• Analyze network traffic and system logs to proactively search for signs of malicious activity.
• Help create and update security policies and procedures, ensuring internal guides are clear and current.
