Requirements

• Solid understanding of information security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in assisting with the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess security issues and propose effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or specialized training in information security is a plus.
• 3 years of experience in information security or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and test the design and operating effectiveness of security controls
• Assist in the development and implementation of information security controls, policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the management of cyber related risk assessments identify, manage and mitigate potential security risks.
• Assist in the planning and execution of security awareness and training initiatives for employees.
• Contribute to cyber incident response activities, including tabletop exercises to assist in investigation, response, and remediation efforts.
• Support the preparation of regular reports and updates on security metrics and initiatives.
