About The Position
The ETSU College of Nursing, Department of Undergraduate Programs, invites applications for a full-time Information Research Technician 2. The Information Research Technician 2 (IRT 2) position involves a variety of administrative, research, and technical support duties within the Undergraduate Programs of the College of Nursing. The role requires strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to manage daily tasks, maintain records, and ensure smooth operations. The IRT 2 will work under general supervision, with duties that require interpreting guidelines and applying them to varying circumstances. The role involves a mix of administrative tasks such as budget preparation, contract management, course scheduling, and coordination of clinical healthcare records, along with providing key support to faculty and staff.
Requirements
- High School diploma and four (4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in higher education environment or within nursing/clinical programs.
- Familiarity with university systems, such as Banner or Project Concert.
- Experience with budget management and financial reconciliation.
