About The Position

The Information and Policy Analyst at Indiana University plays a crucial role in supporting the university-wide Information Security and Privacy program. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, data administration, information technology, cybersecurity risk management, or related field.
  • 2 years of policy development, data administration, legal, regulatory compliance, systems development, or closely related experience.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and maintain university information and technology policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison to other university units to develop and provide assistance and access to resources.
  • Gather user design specifications and coordinate with development teams to maintain technical tools.
  • Provide web and application content and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Communicate and provide content for program documents and guidance as appropriate.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and administration of information and privacy policy initiatives.
  • Monitor and advise on best practices in higher education and related sectors.
  • Assist with notifications of breaches to various entities and individuals.
  • Respond to information policy and privacy inquiries from various organizations and agencies.
