About The Position

AM LLC is seeking an Information Operations Planner that will plan and coordinate across joint, combined, and interagency teams. The planner will be required to work closely with military counterparts to ensure IO effects are integrated into all phases of operations. An active TS/SCI or TS w/SCI eligibility clearance is required. This position is for a forthcoming contract and will be based at the Customer's location in Ft. Eisenhower, GA.

Requirements

  • Prior experience can be substituted for a degree based on the level of the role.
  • IO planning experience at a joint/service level.
  • Formal OIE background (e.g., FA30, or equivalent civilian/contractor training).
  • Strong knowledge of joint planning, targeting, and doctrinal processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of JIOPC, OPSEC Planners Course, or similar military planning courses.
  • SAMS or SAW Graduate.
  • Operational experience supporting CENTCOM AOR is preferred; INDOPACOM or AFRICOM is also acceptable.
  • Familiarity with MILDEC, EW, Cyber, MISO, Public Affairs, Civil Affairs, Space And Intelligence Operation.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess lethal and non-lethal effects from Information Forces and activities (i.e., MISO, MILDEC, EW) and provide recommendations into the targeting process for refinement of targeting guidance and objectives.
  • Apply situational awareness within planning and synchronization of OIE with CCMDs mission partners.
  • Develop plans and concepts to leverage the inherent informational aspects of joint force activities in the theater.
  • Apply operational art and operational design in the application of JOPP/MDMP.
  • Integrate Information Forces and activities across multiple domains, environments, and geographic boundaries, supporting both domestic and overseas operations via OIE planners, intelligence analysts, cultural advisors, and linguists.
  • Work with military planners to break down and synthesize data in a manner that best informs plans and operations.
  • Provide analysis that will include presentation of basic descriptive statistics, longitudinal analysis, and hypothesis testing.
  • Support assessments of the information environment, applying a combination of opinion research data, intelligence, operational reporting, and social media insights.
  • Contribute to design of opinion research and interpretation of findings.
  • Develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Information Environment (IE) and consider significant or key cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments.
  • Apply technical skills to tactical, operational, and strategic level planning/execution, identify and track measures of performance through attainment of measures of effectiveness, and provide advice concerning the application of PSYOP/MISO during the development of operational concepts.
  • Review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level OIE-related directives in support of mission elements.
  • Integrate with interagency and intelligence community (IC).
  • Integrate, coordinate, and synchronize adjacent and supporting operations, as well as develop support for related capabilities and their activities.
  • Use working knowledge of MISO/IO, Military Deception (MILDEC), operations security (OPSEC), electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations missions, tasks, and overall warfighting functions to support operations.
  • Review and incorporate commissioned qualitative research to provide context to quantitative findings.
