About The Position

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) could be the place for you! Under the direction of the Deputy Director (C.E.A.) of Communications, the Information Officer I (Visual Communications Designer) is responsible for the development, design, and production of all visual content for the department, including the planning, conceptualization, and execution of content development, layout and designs for materials such as fact sheets, brochures, flyers, graphics, and presentations. This position is responsible for creating plain language content, designing high-quality, creative materials for use across a variety of platforms, including web, social media, print, and video. The Visual Communications Designer is also a key member of the department's social media team. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the communications and outreach team to inform the public of the department's mission and activities.
