About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support and Data Engineer to join our IT team. This is a 2-pronged technical hands-on role, where primary responsibility is to own and manage the helpdesk and desktop support, IT asset tracking, and managing Managed Service Providers and Vendors. Moreover, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving issues for our internal staff and external clients. Secondly, this role would require Data Management skills for building Data Lake House (MS Fabric, Power BI etc), Managing data pipelines etc. This is a great role in a fast-growing organization to join at the bottom floor and be part of building and implementing solutions and putting processes in place, which will create a foundation for future IT framework and infrastructure. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a helpdesk environment.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting Windows and/or MacOS devices and operating systems
  • Strong experience with MS365 Suite, SharePoint and related applications.
  • Experience with Supporting telephone and IVR operations and configuration (preferably Ring Central)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience setting up Microsoft AD (Entra ID) and MS365 Intune
  • Experience with ETL tools, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, DataLakehouse architecture is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce systems and related integrations is good to have.
  • Understanding of IT security and networking.
  • Automation in On-boarding, Off-boarding activities.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant settings, including user accounts, groups, and licenses.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, emails, and phone calls in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Manage Business Phone System (RingCentral) and IVR configuration.
  • Manage and deploy best practices for user account management, password resets, and access control.
  • Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Configure and optimize security settings, including conditional access policies and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to code, implement and support various productivity applications.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
  • Support a phone call heavy Inside sale team on technical systems like CRM and Business Phone systems, IVR.
  • Manage MSP (Managed Service Providers).
  • Research and run POCs for Automation and new technologies and solutions.
  • Research on various integrations and APIs to ensure seamless communication between different technologies and manage how data is mapped and flows through applications.
  • Research and Build a Data Lakehouse - consolidating structured, unstructured data and creating reports and dashboards on this data.
