About The Position

Summary of Duties: Directs patients and gives information regarding the hospital and its services Essential Functions: 1.Actively engages with patients providing customer service and direction. 2.Communicates effectively with other staff and family. 3.Actively uses personal protective equipment to prevent the spread of any communicable viruses. 4.Positively impacts the patient experience at Nevada Regional Medical Center through enhanced clear, respectful, and effective communication skills. 5.Provides accurate simple to follow directions to patients and family members so they can reach their destination in the hospital in a timely fashion. 6.Other duties as assigned. Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to perform under pressure if needed.
• Ability to complete competency CPR and First Aid
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 12 hours or longer per workday.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or GED
• Must complete required training for all NRMC employees.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience encouraged
• Healthcare experience preferred.
