As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.  Information Data StewardJob Duties Data Owner and General Master Data Business Systems lead - Design, develop and report data suspected flaws in Crown business systems with possible solutions for harmonization. Create, change, merge and report health of master data objects when inconsistencies are discovered. Collaborate with business, compliance, technology groups to ensure data related business requirements are clearly defined and placed into practice. Data Maintenance - Assist data analysts with data extraction needs for various projects and requests which may include sourcing data from internal sources or data centers as well as external 3rd-party tools.  Enter, correct and merge master data objects when inconsistencies are discovered.   Data Lifecycle Management - Audit and create data processes in accordance with the that defines and monitor the process of creating, modifying, storing and deleting data. Work with data platform, analytics systems to make sure that master data is leveraged appropriately, and that legacy system data is adequately measured. Develop new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for data processes, business processes and data improvements working with all Data Stewards and Business Process Functional Teams and IT. Data Go-Live Profiling with Business Processes - Develop, test, debug, and document data cleansing cases prior to migration efforts. Analyze data, design and follow up on cleansing cases for use in Data Information Steward with the Business Process Teams. Support Regular and Ad Hoc Reporting - Monitor incoming requests and evaluate proper routing within team. Answer questions and provide data requests as submitted on topics related to master data.  Miscellaneous - Provide general assistance and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years
  • Associate degree (Marketing, Sales, IT, Business Administration)
  • Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
  • Occasional travel (0-5%)
  • Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)
  • Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business < 20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday
  • Per 8-hour shift.  Sit 8 hours and stand 0 hours.  Typical office environment (low noise level, limited exposure hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, and vibrations).  Regular interaction with others and performs a degree of independent work.  Physical and mental demands are akin to the majority of office positions with prolonged periods of sitting and prolonged use of a computer/keyboard.  Infrequent lifting, walking and climbing stairs.  Occasional use of office equipment (copiers, printers, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five years related experience in area of subject matter master data.
  • General business understanding of existing Company systems; BaaN, QuipWare, LeaseWorks, InfoLink, FleetSTATS, and Partner.
  • General business understanding of SAP ECC functional areas beneficial.
  • Data governance and master data tools experience.
  • SQL development knowledge.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
