About The Position

Summary This position will provide customers with directions, information, bus schedules, taxi assistance, and general assistance. The position will also be responsible to support customers with inquiries and request.Job Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to Provide customer service excellence through greeting, engaging with, and thanking each customer. Respond to phone calls and customer inquiries. Provide customers with directions, information, bus schedules and taxi assistance. Always maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform other related duties as assigned or required by management. Support store needs as directed in a team-oriented environment. Being part of the Inbound Tourism Project, assist and run the frontend operations for any tourists promotion and shuttle bus coordination – daily shuttle bus ridership counts, any busses arrival, tourists inquiry, etc. Store and Mall event operation support Follow all PPRM Guam’s standard operation policies. Other duties as instructed or assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and effectively respond to the data.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, customers, employees, or others involved or associated in the warehouse section function.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts relevant to the role such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • A valid health certificate or ability to obtain a certification/license is required for this position.
  • This position calls for flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs; flexibility to work weekdays and weekends; and be outgoing and energetic to work with customers and create an inviting atmosphere.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee will also lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50 pounds or more.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • customer service experience preferred
  • experience working in supermarket or grocery preferred
  • or any equivalent combination of formal training and/or experience which provided the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities thereof.
  • General knowledge of basic accounting a plus.
