About The Position

The Information Assurance Specialist supports the development, maintenance, and security of computer systems. The role assists with vulnerability management activities using Department of Defense (DoD) approved monitoring and scanning tools and supports system security through requirements analysis, testing, and system deployment and configuration.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of experience in the development and maintenance of computer systems.
• Experience utilizing DoD approved monitoring and scanning tools in support of system vulnerability management and reporting, including vulnerability status tracking and reporting in DoD systems.
• Experience supporting requirements analysis, testing, and system deployment and configuration.
• Knowledge of computer system development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management processes using DoD approved monitoring and scanning tools.
• Ability to track and report vulnerability status in DoD systems.
• Ability to support requirements analysis, system testing, and system deployment and configuration activities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Naval Surface Warfare Center / DoD Test and Evaluation support preferred.

Responsibilities
