Information Assurance/Security Specialist - Level II (DHA - BAMC)
About The Position
Specialized in the analysis or application of system security practices within an organization/agency. Assists the system owner and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in varies aspects in developing and writing certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation packages included in the process of helping an organization/agency obtain an Authority to Operate (ATO) on its systems and/or environment. Follows National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and/or Department of Defense IA Certification and Accreditation Process standards in performance of job functions. Familiar with commonly used tools, concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Federal Background Investigation Required: Tier 3 (T3)
- IT Security Designation: ADP/IT II
- Relevant Experience: Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent.
- IA Technical/Management Designation: IAT III, IAM III and CE
- Certifications Required (at least one from each): IAT-III and IAM-III, CASP CE, CCNP – Security, CISA, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, GSLC, Computing Environment (CE), Linux+, MCITP: 2008 Server Administrator, MCITIP: 2008 Enterprise & Server Administrator, Oracle 10G DBA, CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
