About The Position

System High requires Information Assurance (IA) leads to serve as technical points of contact for contractor support to the fulfillment of IA tasks for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The IA leads will oversee the accomplishment of all contract tasks at their assigned locations, reporting to a Technical Lead and a Program Manager, and ensure the delivery of associated Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs).

Requirements

  • Capability and demonstrated successful experience in planning, budgeting, recruiting, directing, coordinating, scheduling, and supervising the activities of professional technical personnel.
  • Experience with IA systems security engineering, IA Certification and Accreditation process, ICD 503 policies, and NIST guidance.
  • Ability to interface with clients and develop productive working relationships to meet mission objectives.
  • Independent self-starter, proactive, professional, and assertive.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professional confidentiality.
  • Experience leading personnel across multiple functional and geographic areas.
  • Available to work before/after typical office hours as requirements demand.
  • Travel may be required.
  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is desired.
  • 10 or more years of experience as an IA Systems Architect and Engineer (IASAE) is required. Similar work as an Information Systems Security Engineer, IA Engineer, Systems Security Engineer, and IA Architect would meet this requirement.
  • Recent IC, DoD, or Government experience in IT, IA, or Information Security, related fields, or IA disciplines.
  • Relevant experience working with senior Government managers of IA issues is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility for all aspects of Information Assurance contract execution at their assigned location in support of the Technical Lead and Program Manager.
  • Develop/provide guidance and direction to System High employees, subcontract teaming partners and consultants on policies with regards to technical program operations, execution of labor hours, extended work weeks, travel, comp time, etc.
  • Assist the Technical Lead and PM in developing and presenting monthly or quarterly comprehensive Program Management Reviews to customers and/or corporate leadership.
  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of the IA architecture, system or system component.
  • Ensure that the architecture and design of the IS will be functional and secure. This may include designs for program of record systems and special purpose environments with platform IT interconnectivity.
  • May also be responsible for system or network designs that encompass multiple computers and networks to include those with differing data protections/classification requirements.
  • Provide Information Technology security engineering, integration services, technical assessments, and solutions, including analyzing the IS environment helping customers understand information security needs, defining system security requirements, designing system security architectures, developing and implementing detailed security designs and measures to safeguard information, and assessing information protection effectiveness.
