Peraton is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Engineer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals on our Department of State (DOS) Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program. CAEIO provides IT Operations and Maintenance to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting consular applications services globally. The IA Engineer works closely with the CAEIO Infrastructure, Engineering and Application teams to improve cyber hygiene and security across various applications, platforms and operating systems. The IA Engineer also supports security documentation, assessments, and compliance activities by reviewing security controls, identifying risks, and helping ensure systems meet cybersecurity requirements. This role ensures the consistent application of cybersecurity principles and best practices while providing guidance and recommendations to technical teams.
