The ideal candidate will leverage advanced cybersecurity methodologies and frameworks to identify vulnerabilities, implement robust security measures, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards. This position requires a proactive approach to securing our networks and systems against a continually evolving landscape of cyber threats. Requirements

  • Four (4) years of professional experience in Information Assurance Compliance.
  • An ACTIVE minimum Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. (We are not able to sponsor clearances at this time.)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical degree) from accredited College or University.
  • Need to possess an active IAM-II cert or higher (i.e., CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive security architectures that protect the organization's information systems and data assets from a wide range of threats.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on existing systems and networks, recommending enhancements and ensuring timely implementation of security patches and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, document, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures that promote best practices across the organization.
  • Lead security incident response efforts, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to analyze and remediate security incidents promptly.
  • Perform security audits and assessments, facilitating continuous monitoring and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and RMF.
  • Implement advanced security technologies and solutions, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior security personnel, enhancing the overall security awareness and capabilities within the team.
  • Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends, recommending proactive measures to safeguard organizational assets.
