About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Architect to oversee the design, development, and management of the data warehouse architecture. This role is pivotal in ensuring data accessibility, security, and reliability, while aligning with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling large volumes of data and complex systems and will work closely with stakeholders to develop efficient, scalable, and secure data solutions.

Requirements

  • Expertise in data warehouse concepts and best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies (relational, dimensional, cloud based).
  • Experience with coding in Python.
  • Experience with BI reporting tools such as BusinessObjects and Microsoft Power BI, particularly in working with the semantic layer.
  • Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring optimal data structure and relationships.
  • Design efficient and scalable database systems that support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Develop data integration strategies, ensuring seamless consolidation of data.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to implement data pipelines and transformation processes.
  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Work closely with DBAs and system administrators to monitor and optimize database performance.
  • Plan and execute data migrations from legacy systems to modern data architectures.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
