About The Position

The Information and Compliance Coordinator at Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is responsible for overseeing incoming referrals and inquiries for services related to developmental disabilities. This role involves maintaining partnerships, marketing services, and ensuring compliance with regulations while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. The coordinator will also assist with reporting and documentation to support the organization's mission of empowering individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • CPR Certification and experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Mid-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to organize multi-faceted workload.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a management or support role in DD Services.
  • Knowledge of DODD Rules and Regulations set forth by the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming referrals and inquiries about services provided in DD Services.
  • Remain knowledgeable about GESMV's DD Services and Senior Services Programs to market and inform referral sources.
  • Maintain open communication with department Director and Managers to facilitate new referral processes.
  • Act as primary liaison with local referring agencies and maintain positive relationships with personnel of referral and other social service agencies.
  • Complete intake process for new referrals and assist with new hire paperwork as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of broad range of occupations and maintain relationships with non-profit volunteer and recreational sites.
  • Assist with completing required reporting for program census, incidents, newsletters, and other ongoing program changes.
  • Meet or exceed individual departmental program goals as established with supervisor.
  • Ensure knowledge of all software and systems utilized for data entry and compliance.
  • Assist with operations to ensure adherence to all requirements related to specific funding sources.
  • Create, edit, and prepare compliance reports as requested by the DD Services team.
  • Stay up to date on DODD Rules and Regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Work cooperatively with other departments to complete the work of DD Services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with reporting necessary statistical data for timely vocational decisions.
  • Develop professional relationships with key organizational and community stakeholders.
  • Assist program Managers and Director in identifying meetings requiring GESMV representation.
  • Stay compliant and trained in First Aid, CPR, AED, and other required trainings.
  • Complete revisions to policies and procedures as required.
  • Comply with all Agency policies, procedures, and safety standards.
