About The Position

The Informatics Pharmacist will develop, build, test, and troubleshoot medication-related work within the Epic Willow suite of solutions. This role involves collaboration with pharmacy informatics personnel to create integrated solutions, maintaining order sets, formulary changes, and CPOE changes. The pharmacist will act as a liaison between pharmacy and IT, participate in relevant committees, and promote optimizations and enhancements from Epic. The position includes rotating on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Epic certified in modules supported or receive certification within 6 months from employment.
• Experience with interpretation of regulations and implementation, monitoring of systems to meet requirements such as TJC.
• Experience training others.
• Licensed by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist or Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the state of work.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in Information Technology skills.
• Proficient in project management ideologies or experience.
• Experience overseeing small to medium projects, end-to-end.
• Proficient with Epic Willow build and/or use experience.
• Other EMR experience (Cerner, Meditech, etc.).
• At least two years experience in a hospital pharmacy with increasing responsibility and leadership.
• Interface HL7 experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Previous experience with pharmacy software configuration, testing, and implementation.

Responsibilities
