UPMC is looking to hire a Full-Time Informatics Nurse I to support Clinical Informatics. This position will work primarily daylight hours Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM with occasional weekends and nights for Go Live/downtime coverage there may be some on call time associated with this position. This position is hybrid with a work from home opportunity when not rounding or on site. This position is responsible for providing effective EHR workflow support to all end users (physicians/APPs, nurses, MAs, front desk, and practice managers) in the ambulatory setting by providing both remote and on-site support as needed. The Informatics Nurse will also support compliance and operational initiatives impacting the EHR, manage optimization and change request projects, and work ServiceNow tickets, as well as our real-time workflow support platform- LiveHelpNow. Purpose: Under the direction of the Director, Clinical and Operational Informatics (DCOI), the Informatics Nurse I has the responsibility and accountability of assessing and assisting in the investigation, development, and implementation of new technology as it relates to clinical practice, and serving as a liaison for end users and the Informatics division. Informatics Nurse I participates on project teams to ensure a successful, on time go live. He/she develops and maintains project deliverables in accordance with application project goals. He/she gathers and communicates data to the Informatics Nurse II, DCOI or other as requested.
