Overview The Informatics Nurse Applications Analyst, Epic OPtime serves as the technical and clinical Health Informatics subject matter expert for the clinical applications. The Nurse Applications Analyst supports the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Children's Mercy and Information Technology. The Nurse Applications Analyst manages projects and programs in the nursing area they are assigned and assists with more complex projects. They maintain and provide technical support for assigned clinical applications. The analyst is a liaison to the nursing care delivery teams and develops, implements, and effectively uses clinical technologies to enhance patient care. They collaborate to positively impact patient safety and care quality. The successful candidate will have at least one application-specific Epic certification relevant to the department, Epic OPtime is highly preferred. This role is mostly remote, but incumbent should live within driving distance of the main campus in KCMO and will be required to attend on-site meetings and training.
