Requirements
- 5 years experience in an informatics-related role within a healthcare institution.
- Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, particularly in radiology.
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems is highly preferred.
- Advanced SQL skills with solid understanding of data architecture and modeling.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for engagement with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics or Data Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary consultant for multiple clients, providing expert-level guidance on EHR data structures and reporting capabilities.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions and translate complex workflows into actionable technical specifications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend solutions and improvements.
- Design, build, and optimize EHR data extracts with a focus on Epic and Cerner platforms.
- Develop sophisticated SQL queries and data models to support various use cases.
- Lead validation efforts to ensure accuracy and completeness of extracted data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders and provide training to empower clients.
