About The Position

The Informatica Developer - Solution Specialist role at Deloitte involves working collaboratively in a team environment to implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level data architecture using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). The position focuses on supporting multiple work streams in an Agile Hybrid software development environment, primarily for government client engagements. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing sustainable ETL applications, creating technical design documents, and ensuring data quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with ETL, specifically Informatica PowerCenter.
• At least 6 months of work experience with ETL Informatica Cloud Services (IICS).
• Strong SQL experience and understanding of dimensional data models.
• Experience with performance tuning in IICS, Informatica, and SQL.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge to convert PowerCenter workflows to IICS platform.
• Expertise in ETL data management areas such as ETL and database architecture and design.
• Extensive experience interacting with business users to analyze their business processes and requirements.
• Experience with troubleshooting Informatica session failures.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level data architecture using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Support work streams as an ETL Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) data integration lead developer.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Modelers to understand business requirements.
• Design and develop sustainable database ETL applications to meet requirements.
• Create technical design documents capturing source to target mapping and transformation algorithms.
• Document data quality rules and ensure compliance.
