About The Position

The Informatica Architect role at Apex Systems involves leading the implementation of advanced data governance, metadata management, and quality initiatives using Informatica CDGC. Requirements

• Hands-on experience configuring and optimizing Informatica CDGC, EDC, AXON.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or SQL).
• Deep knowledge of metadata and data lineage frameworks.
• Familiarity with CLAIRE and similar AI tools for data quality initiatives.
• Ability to identify and address complex data issues proactively.
• Proven track record in leading technical teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with other data governance/catalog tools.
• Background in building or working within an AI Data Fabric or data mesh environment.
• Understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive metadata management framework using Informatica CDGC.
• Manage multiple project initiatives to optimize and maintain high availability.
• Lead efforts to map and document data flow across systems for transparency and reliability.
• Utilize CLAIRE to create AI-powered data quality reports and enhance exploratory data profiling.
• Develop and enforce data quality standards, including GE-specific rules, and monitor compliance.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging tools and practices in data fabric technologies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
