About The Position
The Infor LN (Baan) Functional Consultant position is a critical role within an electronics manufacturing company located in Waterbury, CT. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Infor LN and manufacturing processes. The consultant will be responsible for addressing various issues related to the Infor LN ERP system, particularly in areas such as Manufacturing, Work Orders, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, and Inventory management. Additionally, the role involves ensuring seamless integration between the Infor LN ERP system and the Factory Logix MES by AEGIS, which is essential for optimizing manufacturing operations. The consultant will work closely with users on the manufacturing floor to identify pain points and implement effective solutions. Given the nature of the work, it is imperative that the consultant is onsite full-time, as frequent interaction with plant personnel is necessary to understand and resolve process-related challenges. This position is expected to last for a minimum of 12 months, with the potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and business needs. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Waterbury, CT, and be prepared to relocate if necessary. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and possess a strong background in ERP systems, particularly Infor LN.
