About The Position

Voodoo Doughnut is seeking a culturally fluent, creatively driven Influencer Coordinator to enhance restaurant openings and brand presence. This role focuses on influencer partnerships, social storytelling, and community engagement to make Voodoo Doughnut's new city launches memorable. The coordinator will manage inbound creators and influencers for grand opening events, provide event details, capture and organize social media content, and engage with local communities. Additionally, the role supports broader social community engagement to boost visibility across all platforms. It's an opportunity for someone with a strong instinct for social media trends and genuine connection with creators to contribute to a fast-growing brand's bold launches.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute influencer outreach that authentically align with brand voice, aesthetics, and business goals
  • Identify, vet, and build relationships with inbound and outbound creators to support new store Grand Opening preview event visits and new product launches
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager to pitch, coordinate, negotiate, and track success of influencer campaigns
  • Coordinate influencer activations, including preview events for new store openings and key brand moments
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and database of creators, ensuring organized tracking of relationships, usage rights, and performance
  • Track creator performance and campaign metrics; deliver actionable insights and optimization recommendations
  • Source and maintain a collection of UGC and creator content for brand channels
  • Proactively engage in relevant cultural and community conversations beyond owned channels
  • Serve as a daily voice of the brand across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads, etc.)
  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, tags, and mentions within 12–24 hours with thoughtful, on-brand engagement
  • Stay ahead of social and influencer trends; identify timely opportunities for engagement and growth
  • Monitor conversations, cultural moments, and emerging themes; flag opportunities or risks in real time
  • Assist in grassroots campaigns including gifting, giveaways, and community-driven activations
  • Partner with operations and customer care teams to address product inquiries and customer concerns via social
