About The Position

Reading Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our growing, collegial team. The role is approximately 75% inpatient and 25% outpatient, offering a dynamic mix of clinical responsibilities. We're looking for a collaborative physician who thrives in a team environment and enjoys teaching medical students and residents. You'll be supported by a dedicated team that includes two Registered Nurses (RNs), one Medical Assistant (MA), two Patient Service Representatives (PSRs), one OPAT Pharmacist, and one 340B Pharmacist.

Requirements

• Candidates must be BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
• A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required.
• Candidates coming out of training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care as an Infectious Disease Physician.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals.
• Teach medical students and residents.
• Participate in clinical research with support from the Clinical Trials Office.
• Offer Travel Medicine services in the outpatient setting.
• Share call responsibilities with nine other providers.
