About The Position

The Infectious Disease Physician position with National Wound Physician Group offers a unique opportunity for clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, while ensuring a healthy work-life balance. This role is designed for those who prefer no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and will utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, and we offer physician-level wound management training along with a wound fellowship to equip you with the knowledge and expertise necessary for clinical excellence. W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a typical work schedule of 45 hours per week for full-time positions, allowing for autonomy and flexibility.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in wound management or related fields.
• Interest in mobile practice and flexibility in work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Document clinical findings in real-time during clinical rounds using proprietary EMR.
