About The Position

Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Infectious Disease team in Peoria, Illinois. This position is primarily inpatient and involves performing detailed histories and physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests, and formulating assessments and plans with the attending physician on patients with various infectious diseases. The role is a Monday to Friday position from 8am to 5pm with no night call, and includes 1 in 4 weekend call which is mostly handled remotely.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
• 1 - 3 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed histories and physical exams
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Formulate assessments and plans with the attending physician
• Manage patients with various infectious diseases
