About The Position
Charter House’s mission is to provide the highest quality care. We are seeking a dedicated Infection Preventionist / Quality Assurance (IP/QA) Nurse to partner with leadership in advancing infection prevention, resident safety, and quality improvement initiatives across our senior living community. The IP/QA Nurse collaborates closely with interdisciplinary leaders to develop, implement, and evaluate the Infection Prevention and Control Program and Quality Improvement Program. This role serves as a clinical leader, educator, and consultant, ensuring best practices that protect residents, visitors, and employees.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee infection prevention and control activities to reduce the risk of infection transmission
- Monitor, analyze, and manage quality measures, indicators, and outcomes
- Plan, implement, and evaluate educational and clinical training programs
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to infection prevention, quality assurance, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with evidence‑based practices, regulatory requirements, and consensus guidelines
- Utilize computer hardware, software, and data systems to support daily work and quality monitoring
- Effectively lead teams, committees, and workgroups across the organization
- Serve as a clinical resource and consultant to nursing and interdisciplinary staff
