Requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program to ensure compliance with state, federal, and CDC guidelines.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on infection prevention practices.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate infection risks.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop policies, training, and reporting systems for infection control.
• Investigate, report, and follow up on infection outbreaks and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor trends, track infection data, and implement improvement plans to maintain resident and staff safety.
