About The Position
The Infection Preventionist (IP) participates in implementing the Infection Control Plan under the direction of the Director of Infection Prevention and Control and the IP&C Medical Director. The IP works to prevent, identify, monitor, and control the spread of infection. The IP participates in surveillance, data collection and analysis, data presentation, improvement teams, policy review, and staff education across the organization.
