About The Position

Infection Preventionist/Staff Educator Taylor Community is in search of an Infection Preventionist / Staff Educator to lead infection prevention and control initiatives across all levels of care within our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). This role also oversees clinical education and training programs to ensure staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the highest standards of resident care. The ideal candidate is a collaborative healthcare professional with strong clinical knowledge, teaching skills, and a passion for quality improvement and resident safety. The candidate will be a licensed nurse in the state of NH and will be the first line of defense for our resident and staff safety by way of training and education. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facility's activities aimed at preventing healthcare-associated infections by ensuring that sources of infections are isolated to limit the spread of infectious organisms. The candidate will be responsible for training internal staff in compliance with Taylor Community's annual training plan and will work to deliver educational in-services and training of pre-approved Taylor Community modules that meet company protocols and standards. The candidate will focus their efforts on interviewing and facilitating the movement of candidates through the onboarding process for all health care applicants. While primary duties are mostly administrative and Monday-Friday, this nurse will also function as a floor nurse when time allows and when needs are evident. There may be times when weekends and holidays will be required to ensure proper training for all staff.
