The role under the guidance of the infection prevention coordinator is crucial for the health system's infection prevention and control program. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with infection prevention-related regulations required by regulatory agencies. Key responsibilities include the surveillance, analysis, and interpretation of hospital-acquired infections. The individual will also be tasked with educating all healthcare providers about infection prevention practices. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the development of health system policies and procedures to ensure that rigorous infection control standards are met. The position requires the ability to manage pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to constantly changing situations. Furthermore, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people, manage stressful situations, and resolve conflicts. The individual will perform all job duties or tasks as assigned and must adhere to all requirements, regulations, and procedures set forth by any licensing board or agency, as well as comply with all Benefis Health System's organizational policies and procedures.
