About The Position

The Infection Prevention Observer at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is responsible for providing general administrative and operational support within the department on a temporary basis. This role focuses on ensuring efficient utilization of hospital resources while assisting with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, communications, and data management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an organized manner and collaborate effectively with others.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative and operational support in the department.
• Assist with scheduling and taking minutes for meetings.
• Manage communications, assessments, and analysis related to departmental functions.
• Help in editing, formatting, reproducing, and filing program materials and data.
• Perform photocopying, scanning, and data entry tasks.
• Manage calls and assist in data management.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
