About The Position
Actively participates in development of Infection Control policies, procedures and initiatives. Maintains strategies and action plan for isolating, preventing and minimizing the spread of infectious diseases. Implements and maintains processes consistent with evidence based practices to reduce incidence of healthcare acquired infections. Collects and analyzes data on the incidence of HAIs and the success or failure of the various prevention strategies
Requirements
- Must be actively certified as an infection control practitioner [CIC]
