About The Position

This childcare teaching role supports infants and toddlers in a safe, nurturing classroom. We’re looking for a caring infant teacher who enjoys hands-on teaching, building relationships with families, and working closely with a Lead Teacher, a teacher assistant, and support staff.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers Permit (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to complete required child care training hours
  • Dependable attendance, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a busy child care or childcare setting with infants and toddlers
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and move quickly throughout the day
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and get up/down from the floor as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality child care in a clean, safe environment that helps infants and toddlers feel secure and supported
  • Support daily routines including bottles/feeding, diapering, naps, handwashing, and smooth transitions
  • Plan and lead developmentally appropriate learning experiences (sensory play, songs, stories, fine motor, and early social-emotional skills) using a responsive teaching approach
  • Share daily updates with families in a friendly, professional way
  • Collaborate with your classroom team (including a teacher assistant and support staff) to keep the day running smoothly
  • Follow safety and licensing standards, including daily cleaning and sanitizing of toys, surfaces, and classroom material
