About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Infant/ Toddler Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. About Learning My Way Montessori Established in 2017, Learning My Way Montessori is a licensed and insured star 4 daycare center with two locations. One location in the Germantown section of Philadelphia , the other in the Norristown section of Montgomery County. We act as the second family to the children and provide before and after as well as overnight care. Mission Statement Our mission is to provide safe, affordable, and quality care for children and families. We create a nurturing environment and learning experience that are developmentally appropriate. Our goal is to build lifelong learners while we provide support and encouragement by working together with our families.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• First aid/CPR certified

Responsibilities

• Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Design a daily and weekly schedule
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
