About The Position
The Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central MA with a mission to provide families with quality and affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. We are currently seeking an EEC certified Infant/Toddler Teacher at our Webster, MA location. This individual will shape the classroom environment within agency guidelines by leading, coordinating, and making decisions to develop and maintain a quality early childhood program. This candidate will have taken Child Growth and Development at the College level and have a minimum of 9 months experience working with toddler or preschool children.
Requirements
- EEC certified
- Child Growth and Development at the College level
- Minimum of 9 months experience working with toddler or preschool children
- Successfully completed EEC background check
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group
- Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing an exciting and enriching learning environment for children
- Share in the classroom decision-making, finding a mutually agreeable plan that is best for the children
