About The Position
Lighthouse Preschool & Daycare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team in Carrollton, VA. This full-time position is perfect for individuals who love engaging with young children through singing, dancing, reading, and play. The ideal candidate will be organized, energetic, and capable of nurturing multiple infants simultaneously. This role is particularly suited for experienced stay-at-home parents looking to transition back into the workforce. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. You will engage in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience working independently with multiple infants, and candidates must be willing to obtain the necessary Virginia state training certifications, including health and safety, child abuse and neglect, and CPR/First Aid. Our facility is conveniently located at 15154B Carrollton Blvd, Carrollton, VA, 23314, making it accessible for those in the surrounding areas, including Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Suffolk. We offer a supportive work environment with a focus on professional development to help you grow in your career. This position requires availability Monday through Friday between 7 am and 5 pm, and candidates must pass an FBI clearance. Pay is contingent on experience and education, with a competitive hourly rate of $13.00 to $14.00.
