About The Position
INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER ASSISTANT (Early Head Start): Deadline to Apply: Monday March 23, 2026 at 4 PM Center: Stewart Early Head Start (Springfield MO) Work Status: Part Time M-F 12:30-5:00 OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Early Head Start (Infant/Toddler) Teacher Assistant . Join a relationship-based team where we strive to staff three teachers in each EHS classroom to provide high quality care to infants and toddlers. Each mix-aged classroom serves a total of eight children birth through two. Each teacher in the classroom works cooperatively as part of a team and provides primary caregiving to two to three children. This job includes Paid Holidays. Paid Leave. Paid Training Opportunities. Requirements
- Minimum of HS Diploma/GED AND six (6) college credit hours or Infant/Toddler CDA.
- Willingness to obtain Early Childhood Development Specialization Certification from Ozarks Tech (paid for by employer).
- Experience working with infants and toddlers.
- Copy of transcript required with application.
