About The Position

The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is currently hiring Infant/Toddler Lead Qualified Teachers. Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development. A passion for creating an environment of kindness and character development are a must!

Requirements

• Kindness and strong character
• Desire to nurture children and help them to grow to help make the world a better place
• Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM

Nice To Haves

• CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
• 45 Hour Infant/Toddler Certificate Preferred.
• EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)

Responsibilities

• Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
• Ensuring a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
• Understanding and implementing Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures
