Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher
About The Position
SCHEDULE: 9:00AM - 6:00PM We are looking for two dedicated, seasoned professionals interested in creating a welcoming loving classroom environment for children aged 3 months - 12 months. Our classes are designed for teachers to co-lead. Lesson planning and classroom responsibilities are shared between co-teachers. This allows for better consistency in the implementation of the curriculum as well as a supportive collaborative environment for our staff. Teachers are encouraged to use their experience, education, and creativity to create a hands on play based curriculum for their students. Requirements
- Professional & Kind Attitude
- 1 Year prior classroom experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
- Lead teacher requirements as outlined by the Department of Education of Virginia
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
- Ability to commute/relocate: Vienna, VA 22182: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Nice To Haves
- CDA, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
