About The Position
Joyous Town Preschool, located in Edmonds, WA, is seeking a qualified, dependable, and passionate Infant Teacher to join our amazing team! This position can be either part-time (minimum 25 hours) or full-time (40 hours). We are dedicated to providing a high-quality and holistic approach by incorporating Montessori and STEAM curriculum. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment, fostering the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each infant, and following all DCYF and WAC requirements. We are looking for an individual who has a strong understanding of a classroom and is passionate about Early Childhood Education. In this role, the Infant Teacher will attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting them. The teacher will observe and document the developmental progress of infants and communicate with parents and guardians regularly. Maintaining a clean and organized classroom consistent with health and safety standards is essential. The teacher will track infants' progress and provide daily reports to parents, displaying a patient and calm personality coupled with a loving approach to every child. Additionally, the teacher will contribute positively to the behavior and social interaction of the children, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment for their growth.
