About The Position

The Madden School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant Room Teacher . As a lead classroom teacher, you’ll work alongside teaching assistants to implement engaging curriculum, facilitate daily activities, and provide nurturing care that supports early learning, social development, and healthy living. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood education , reliable, flexible, and genuinely loves working with preschool-age children. Minimum Requirement: CDA credential.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Infant Room Teacher/TA in a licensed childcare setting.
Strong classroom management, time-management, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Keystone Stars QRIS standards.
Reliable transportation to Philadephia, PA (19137).
Ability to work full-time, on-site, with flexibility to stay until 5:30 pm if needed.
Genuine passion for early childhood education and caring for young children.

Nice To Haves

CDA strongly preferred
CDA or Associate’s degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

Implement Creative Curriculum and maintain alignment with Pennsylvania’s Keystone Stars Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) .
Create and follow daily lesson plans that promote academic, social, and emotional development.
Develop and implement age-appropriate practices to foster learning and independence.
Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and daily experiences.
